“For This Cause I Was Born”
John 18:37 Pilate therefore said to Him, "Are You a king then?" Jesus answered, "You say rightly that I am a king. For this cause I was born, and for this cause I have come into the world, that I should bear witness to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth hears My voice."
Steve wrote:
“Jesus knew His cause! He knew He must go through the crucifixion to finish His cause! This was all to bear witness of the Truth. We, too, have a cause! We were born again to bear witness to the Truth. Our trials break us down to reveal to us and to those around us that Jesus Christ is real, in our suffering and in our health.
“We can stand firm in the face of evil, we can stand firm in the face of sickness, we can stand firm in the face of death knowing for this cause I was born! The cause of Christ! The cause of bearing witness to the Truth! Jesus Christ is the Truth! He is the Way, the Truth and the Light! No one comes to the Father but by Him!
“Lord, I know I am in the cause for that with You! Thank You for saving me into this wonderful cause!” |
